Scottish Fire and Rescue Novice Juvenile Pipe Band

The band was officially formed in September 2015, after it was decided to form a Novice band from the existing training & development band. They have been led since then by Pipe Major Olly Brownlie. The band are a registered competing band and since making our debut at the 2016 British Championships have gone onto achieve silverware at Shotts Games, as well as very credible placings throughout our first season. This year the band continue to develop and are very much looking forward to the 2017 competing season.

The band continues to represent the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service across the country, within the communities and at Fire Service functions. Not only can the band be seen representing the SFRS Organisation but we have played on stage as part of the Glasgow Chinese New Year Celebrations, as well as our very own concert in March of this year. We also have a strong tuition team in place that continues to develop the talents within the band & those that are just starting with us.

We are very much looking forward to making our Piping Live! debut & being apart of such a great week.
