Tyler Fry

Born in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada, Tyler Fry is the recognized world leader in the art of pipe band tenor drumming. By the age of 15, he had won every major professional solo tenor drumming event in North America; including the Canadian, United States and North American Championships.

Tyler a three-time winner of the Grade One World Bass Drum Section Championship with the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band of Toronto, as well as countless Scottish, British, European and World band and drum corps titles with Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band and The Spirit of Scotland Pipe Band under the leadership of the legendary Drum Major Jim Kilpatrick MBE.

Tyler travels extensively throughout every continent year-round conducting masterclasses and seminars, and he regularly tours with the infamous bagrock group, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

Tyler created the worldwide brand TyFry Ltd. at the age of 13, which holds all of the global patents and is the world leader in the manufacturing of all variations of tenor drum beaters used today, including the TyFry Classic, Platinum, Ultimate and Ultimate Practice.
