These new pieces will be presented by a bespoke project band featuring the 10 young composers themselves, as well as NYPBS Pipers and Drummers alongside leading traditional musicians.

Now in its second year, the NYPBS’ Emerging Composers project gives young composers the chance to write for Scotland's only concert Pipe Band.

This year’s Piping Live! concert will feature work from last year’s cohort on the theme of Scotland’s Stories and brand new work from this year’s 20 Years Young project, celebrating 20 years of NYPBS.

This concert will be in-person only and not included in the livestream pass.

The Grand Hall at City Halls has lift access throughout the venue and wheelchair seating options in the downstairs area and also in the centre balcony.
