Street Cafe – Tuesday

The Street Cafe returns, bigger and better, to Piping Live! 2018 in its home outside The National Piping Centre. You will find an expanded marquee with more space to enjoy the fantastic music on offer.
There is free music from 12 noon each day. There will be Pipe Idol, emerging artists, sponsor showcases and much more!

On Monday at the Street Cafe you can see:

12noon – Street Cafe Sessions: Mandingma – bagpipes, flute and diatonic accordian from this Belgian Duo

1.00pm – Emerging Talent – Brawbeag – Music influenced by the international make up of the group, with Breton, Hong Kong and Scottish fusions.

2.00pm -Album Launches – Donald Lindsay, Director of the Invermark School of Piping,will showcase tunes from “Bagpipe Music from Invermark” and Iain MacHarg will debut his new collection –  Ceòl Na Beinne  Music of the Mountain

3.30pm – Heat 2 of Pipe Idol – Sponsored by Fred Morrison Pipes. Find out more

5.00pm – Street Cafe Sessions: Morvan Massif – Traditional music from Central France

6.00pm – Open Pipe Band Practice by 78th Fraser Highlanders
