Taught by her father at the kitchen table, Ailis Sutherland has gone on to performn across the UK, and in Europe, Asia and Australia, most recently with the Finlay MacDonald Band. 

Having performed at Piping Live! across the years, Ailis is bringing her solo show to the festival after a dizzying couple of years which has seen performances with Paris fashion house Dior, a recording session at Abbey Road Studios and a guest appearance with Britpop legends Pulp. 

On the night Ailis will be joined by a highly0lauded line up of guest musicians. Expect new tunes, rocking tempos and a wee bit of a vibe to close out the first full day of Centre Stage at Piping Live! 2026!
