How much are festival tickets?
The Festival Pass is £65, which you can register for and buy now from the homepage, or through any event link
Individual tickets for inperson or to watch online range from £5 - £17.50 and can be bought through individual event pages
There are a number of strand packages, The Lunchtime Recitals, Piobaireachd of the Day, Karafolkie and Emerging Talent, where you can access the all of these events through one package price. These packages are only available for watching the events online. Seperate in person tickets must be held for every event you attend at The National Piping Centre.

Bought my Festival Pass ticket from the homepage - what do I do now?
Thank you for buying your festival pass!
You now have access to all the online events covered by the pass. If you go to any event page, click the buy tickets / watch online button on the right, and it should pop up with a short video, saying you are in the right place! Then shortly before each event starts, return to the page, click that button and it should appear. If a login box appears, please enter the email address and password you made when creating your account.
What's included in the Festival Pass?
The Piping Live! Festival pass gets you access to all the online evening events, lunchtime recitals and street cafe events.
The only events it doesn't cover are the still to be announced Learn at Live! events, which will have a small additional fee.
The Festival Pass only covers online viewing, there is not pass ticket for watching in person events, you must have a separate ticket for each event you attend in person.
Will I be able to watch the live event from my location?
Yes. The live events are available worldwide.
How can I connect my SMART TV to watch the broadcast
There are a number of different ways you can watch on SMART Tvs or compatible devices. You can see a list of troubleshooting advice over at the myplayer website. Myplayer is a similar platform to our website, so these should all work.

Will there be a video replay and how do I watch it?
Yes. The video replays is included in the live event purchase and are available until 23:59, 7 days after each event is first shown.
Are there any additional fees to watch the video replays?
No, there are no additional fees.
How long will the video replays be available?
The video replays will be available for seven days after broadcast.
Login and Payment
If you watched Piping Live! 2020, The Glenfiddich Piping Championship or Duncan Johnstone Concert, you will have an Inplayer account already. Please use those credentials to login.
How do I create an account?
- Click the Login button or the content you wish to watch.
- Select the Sign up option at the top of the form.
- Fill in the register form and click the Register button.
You will receive an email confirmation for a successfully created account. To find out how to make a purchase, proceed to the next section.
How do I make a purchase?
- Click the content you wish to watch.
- Enter your login credentials (email and password).
- Select the desired price option and click Next.
- Enter the required information.
- Click the Pay button.
You will immediately receive access and an email confirming your purchase. In case the page does not load, please click the refresh button.
How do I login and watch?
- Click the Login button or the content you wish to watch.
- On the form that appears, enter your login credentials (email and password).
- Click on Login.
The page will then refresh and if you have already purchased, the paywall will disappear. If you haven't purchased, please follow the guidelines above on How do I make a purchase.
How do I reset my password?
- Navigate to the login form by clicking on the Login button or on the content you wish to watch.
- Click the Forgot Password link below the password field on the login form.
- Enter your email address and click the Reset button.
- A new window will pop up. Make sure to leave it open.
- Check your email. You will receive a password reset token. If you don’t see it in your Inbox, make sure to check your Spam and Trash folders.
- Copy the Token and paste it in the first field of the window that popped up previously.
- Enter your new password in the second and third field.
- Click Set
If you do not receive a password reset token please contact us through our Support Center.
Can I watch on multiple devices with my account?
Yes. You can watch on multiple devices at the same time using the same account.
Is payment on your site secure?
Yes! All sensitive data we handle is sent via SSL.
This is not indicated as a site-wide use of HTTPS as it is not; it’s purely the calls that need to be made via HTTPS such as private user details or payment information.
The security of the site is visible using any website inspection tool.
Why was my credit card declined?
Credit or debit card can be declined in the following cases:
- Lack of funding.
- The fraud control system flagged the user as suspicious

What is a CVV number and how do I find it?
The CVV Number (“Card Verification Value”) is the 3 digit number located at the back of your VISA®, MasterCard® and Discover® branded credit and debit cards. On your American Express® branded credit or debit card it is a 4 digit numeric code.
