Entry to The Festival Site

Festival Site entry will be through a dedicated entry marquee. There will be lanes for ticket holders and guests and artists. 

As you enter the Festival site you will have your ticket scanned and be issued with a wristband allowing you to access the site and events included in your pass throughout the day. 

You are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the site for consumption and the use of illegal drugs in or around the site is of course completely prohibited. 

You should also avoid inadvertently bringing anything onsite that may be used as a weapon. At our staff's discretion exceptions will be made for Sgian Dubhs and similar ceremonial/religious items if you are wearing traditional dress. 

There are some restrictions on what can be brought on to site - please check this list to ensure your entry to the site. 

• No Alcohol can be brought on site
• No glass bottles can be brought on site
• Cans and plastic bottles may be brought on site as long as they are sealed/unopened
• Empty refillable water bottles may be brought on site, with water available at filling stations from Purely Scottish water.
• Large backpacks and suitcases cannot be brought into the Festival Site. Instrument cases, small day backpacks and bags can be brought in.
• All bags may be subject to random bag search

We are delighted to be once again hosting Livestream for R.G Hardie & Co Masters Solo Piping Competition Piobaireachd and March, Strathspey & Reel sections on Sunday 9th August, as well as the Pipe Idol Grand Final on Thursday 13th August.
