As the number of young musicians grew, the band began performing at a wide range of community events throughout the Balerno area, alongside regular performances at local schools. These appearances have helped build both the band's confidence and its strong connection with the local community.

Over the past four years, the band has proudly competed in both the Scottish Schools Pipe Band Championships and the World Pipe Band Championships, reaching the World Pipe Band Championships final in 2024. That same year, the band also took part in Edinburgh's inaugural Tartan Parade, with the celebrations culminating in a performance on stage at the iconic Usher Hall.

The band continues to flourish and now welcomes members from Firrhill High School, Craigmount High School, Currie High School and Kirknewton Primary School, reflecting its growing reputation and commitment to developing young piping and drumming talent across the area.
