Cédric Le Bozec

Cédric Le Bozec is originally from Gourin, in central Brittany. At the age of 12, he took his first steps in music with his father, then with Jakez Pincet. His passion quickly led him to join prestigious groups such as the Bleimor bagad and the Cap Caval bagad.

Since 1999, Cédric has been sharing his knowledge as a teacher at Sonerion, while also serving as Penn Soner at the Guingamp bagad, which he led to the first category. He then took over as musical director of the Bagad Bourbriac, which he led from the 5th to the 1st Grade in 2019. For over 15 years, Cédric shared the stage in a duo with the renowned guitarist Soïg Sibéril, played in a bombarde/bagpipe duo with Tangi Sicard, and is also the leader of the band Breizharock. In 2018, Cédric collaborated with Scottish luthier and reed maker John Elliott, founder of G1 Reeds. There, he learned how to work with chanter reeds while sharing the design of chanter sound. After 25 years of teaching at Sonerion, Cédric decided to devote himself fully to his company Breizh Piping and his musical projects in Brittany and across the Channel
