She was initially taught by Bob McFie at the College of Piping and now has lessons with John Mulhearn and Margaret Houlihan. She is currently in second year at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, studying a Bachelor’s of Music in Traditional Music – Piping.

She competes in solo piping around Scotland, where she has competed in the final of Piping Live!’s prestigious Pipe Idol U21 competition, as well as winning the Intermediate MSR at the 2025 Argyllshire Gathering. This prize gained her an invitation to the Lochnell Championship for pipers aged Under 22, where she placed 3rd in the Piobaireachd section. She hopes to continue progressing in solo piping to reach the top prizes in future.
