The Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band is one of the leading pipe bands in the world, and the most influential and successful pipe band from Northern Ireland ever.
Since 1981 Richard Parkes MBE has led Field Marshall Montgomery as one of the greatest pipe bands ever.
The band won the World Championships in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018, also becoming the first band to win all the Major competitions in a single year more than once after achieving this in 2011 and again in 2013. 2013 was also the first year that the Drum Corps won the world title.
Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band will have a quartet of pipers performing at Piping Live! as part of the Quartet Competition, subject to covid restricitons lifting to allow group rehearsals.
