Iain is a double gold medallist and two time winner of both the Clasp and the Glenfiddich Piping Championship.
He was taught by Jack D. Crichton, his father Tom Speirs and by his grandfather, Pipe Major Jock Speirs. He has also received tuition from Donald MacPherson and Murray Henderson. Iain lives in Edinburgh where he is Head of Marketing for Hampden Bank.
