Ronsed Mor Pipe Band


Bagad Ronsed Mor was formed in 1969 and has been in grade one of the Breton championships since 1981, winning the Brittany bagad champion title 4 times.

'Ronsed Mor' is Breton for sea horse, an animal that is symbol for the band. The bagad released many albums on its own and has been guest artist along side many musicians such as Gilles Servat, Pascal Lamour, Denez Prigent, Pat O'May, Carlos Nuñez and Dan Ar Braz. Ronsed Mor have showcased with Alan Stivell, José Ángel Hevia and Michael Jones. Alongside their bagad activity, the band created a pipe band for the entertainment of playing Scottish music and to push forward their musicality and techniques. They now are a regular prize list contestant on the Brittanny pipe band scene.
