The band, created by Andrea Jones from North Carolina USA,  is made up of women from Canada, USA, Germany, and Australia. We are coming together from all over the world to experience the World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow, and are excited to perform at Piping Live!

The Band is made up of all women from 4 countries and who practice mainly online. Smaller groups have in-person practices as much as possible.  They are a large band with 24 pipers and 13 drummers who came together to just play the World Pipe Band Championship in 2026, and after that a smaller group that is based out of North Carolina, USA,  will continue to play events in their area. The Big Rab show has had us Rose & Thistle Ladies Pipe Band on his podcast, and have been contacted by the Maket Collective for an interview.  They have also been contacted by BBC Scotland for their world Pipe Band Championship video coverage so keep an eye out for them!
