Bring some serious energy to your Tuesday afternoon with the Ross Miller Band.
A former Danny Kyle Award winner and BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist, Ross has fast become a standout figure on the contemporary folk scene, known for a playing style that is as soulful as it is high-octane.
When he isn't fronting his own band, Ross is a long-standing member of the Grade 1 Inveraray and District Pipe Band. His deep roots in the pipe band and solo piping worlds inform his sophisticated approach to melody and harmony. Accompanied by a powerhouse line-up featuring Charlie Stewart (fiddle), Rory Matheson (keys), Graeme Armstrong (guitar), Ruairidh MacLean (bass), and Rory Grindlay (drums), the band creates a lush, driving sound that pushes traditional tunes into "exuberant overdrive." Following the success of his debut album The Roke and a string of sold-out shows across the UK, Ross brings a set to the Centre Stage that is full of infectious passion and technical flair.
