Founded in the heart of Dublin City in 1910 and now based at The Phoenix Park, Dublin, the St. Laurence O'Toole Pipe Band is the first and only band from the Republic of Ireland to win the World Pipe Band Championships. Their repertoire includes a large selection of Irish traditional tunes and also tunes composed by current and ex -members. Along with such bands as the 78th Fraser Highlanders from Toronto, St Laurence O'Toole has done much to have Irish jigs,reels and hornpipes accepted as standard in pipe band selections.
