The Nexus Project features the creative and experimental contributions of Bede Patterson (bagpipes and voice), Dean Garrity (soprano saxophone), Ewan Johnston (keys and synths), and Roan Anderson (drums).

Their debut album ‘Glaisvair’ features special guest musicians which is a hallmark of the Nexus ethos – the bringing together of different musical voices from around the world. Guest artists include Ross Ainslie (low whistle), William Barton (didgeridoo), and Vahideh Eisaei (qanun).

Ross Ainslie is one of Scotland’s finest traditional musicians and composers, renowned for his highly acclaimed solo material playing pipes, whistles and cittern, and as a skilled performer and prolific collaborator. William Barton is a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, he is widely recognised as one of Australia’s leading didgeridoo players and composers. Vahideh Eisaei is an Iranian-Australian artist, Qanun player, composer, and singer whose work is deeply rooted in the richness of her Persian heritage.
