The Sòlás Collective
A trio which harbours a unique and fresh sound – steering tradition into new grounds.
A project spearheaded by Fionnlagh Mac A’ Phiocair, the trio features Smallpipes, Gàidhlig Song, Viola, Electronics and the organic partner of music – dancing.
This innovate fusion inspires new life into old tradition, that each member has grown up with - music which has been handed down both Irish and Hebridean Gàidhlig cultures - to create a euphonic, hypnotic sound which washes over audiences. The Sòlás Collective are delighted to be performing at Piping Live! for the first time.
