The Street Café returns for 2024 with a line up of great events including Pipe Idol heats, international artists and Emerging Talent, as well as talks, great music, launches, piobaireachd conversations and more. Make plans to meet friends, eat, drink and enjoy our free programming!

Today's line up has a bit of something for everyone! Here is the line up: 

10.15am - Pibroch Network Conversations: Graphic design. Scripture and multiformity: visualizing pibroch on page and screen. You can find out more about this discussion here.
12noon - Emerging Talent ; Skòrr

1.30pm - International Session ; EoghAnxo - Anxo Lorenzo (Gaita) and Eoghan Neff (Fiddle) bring a flavour of Galicia to Glasgow

3.00pm - Pipe Idol ; Heat 2 of our U21 solo piping competition 

4.30pm - Enjoy Your Piping - live podcast recording with the voice of piping, Gary West

In our marquee outside The National Piping Centre, it is a hub of activity with talks, bar, restaurant and live music every day.

Accessibility

During Piping Live! access is through the ramped entrance to the Street Cafe. This is to the left, down the ramp from the main marquee entrance.
If you cross the stage marquee, there is also an accessible toilet out the door on the far side of the marquee, next to the building.
