The Street Café returns for 2024 with a line up of great events including Pipe Idol heats, international artists and Emerging Talent, as well as talks, great music, launches, piobaireachd conversations and more. Make plans to meet friends to eat, drink and enjoy our free programming!

On day three, there will be some amazing midweek music for you. The line up is: 

10.15am - Piobroch Network Conversations: Standardization. Competitions and standing out, motivations and incentives. You can find out mroe about this discussion here
12noon - Emerging Talent ; McGarrity:MacPherson
1.30pm - International Session ; Armagh Pipers Club ; we are delighted to be welcoming back our freinds from Armagh, who will be bringing great Irish tunes 

3.00pm - Pipe Idol ; Heat 3 of our U21 solo piping competition
4.00pm - The Big Rab Show ; 400th Episode podcast recording with some very special guests 

6.00pm - Pipe Band Practice with Police Scotland and Federation

These events will be in-person only.

The Venue

In our marquee outside The National Piping Centre, it is a hub of activity with talks, bar, restaurant and live music every day.

Accessibility

During Piping Live! access is through the ramped entrance to the Street Cafe. This is to the left, down the ramp from the main marquee entrance.
If you cross the stage marquee, there is also an accessible toilet out the door on the far side of the marquee, next to the building.
