Following initial performances by our Grade 1 bands, it’s over to our young people competing for world glory in the youth competition.
Friday’s competition will be followed by a mass performance from the young bands, ahead of their prize-giving celebration, ensuring a memorable, inspiring experience for competitors and spectators alike.
A ticket to Friday’s event gives access to the whole of Glasgow Green, including the Grade 1 arena, so why not come along and experience the future of piping?

The Venue

The venue is situated within walking distance of the city centre, east of the Saltmarket. If you are travelling to the venue by taxi you should ask to for the Greendyke Street entrance to the Green.  This site is across a fairly large open air area  with slopes which may be prohibitive to those with difficulty walking longer distances. There are dropped kerbs at crossings, no steps and paved pathways throughout the site.
