The Piping Live! Festival team believes everyone should feel safe during the festival.
We will not tolerate harmful behaviours, which may include non-consensual touching or verbal harassment.
If a participant chooses to break these policies, they are likely to be removed from the event.
If someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, no matter how minor it may seem, please do not stay silent.
Similarly if you see anything that is making someone else feel uncomfortable, please act upon it.
You can report it to any Piping Live! Festival member of staff, or volunteer.
They will follow your lead, and work with you to try to make sure it does not happen again and that you and others continue to feel safe at our festival.
The Pipers' Tryst operates the Ask for Angela scheme. Should someone approach you and ask for Angela, accompany them immediately to the Tryst duty manager who will follow the necessary procedure.
