Celebrate the launch of Let Piping Flourish: A Musical History of Highland Piping in Glasgow – a groundbreaking new tune book that tells the city’s piping story through music. More than just a collection of tunes, this is a musical map of Glasgow, where each piece is a tribute to the people, places, and events that shaped its piping tradition. John Mulhearn will be in conversation with renowned piper and educator Dougie Pincock for a discussion about the book and the vibrant history it explores. The event will feature Mulhearn performing tunes from the book, reading excerpts, and a signing – with books available to buy or collect. A heartfelt tribute to the generations who helped piping take root and thrive in Glasgow.
