The Maket Collective was established to inspire women, girls and the wider community to take inspiration and empowerment to advance their own success. As part of the establishment of the Maket Collective, a number of successful women in piping and drumming have been identified as ambassadors.

Come along to the Pipers Tryst to catch up with our Maket collective ambassadors. They are here to answer any questions you may have about the Collective or women in piping and drumming or simply just have a chat.

The Venue


The Pipers' Tryst, The National Piping Centre

Located in the heart of Glasgow's music and theatre locale this little restaurant offers delicious food coupled with excellent Scottish hospitality. 


Accessibility
The National Piping Centre and Pipers' Tryst restaurant has step access at both doors.
There is a lift available from the side of the building to all floors.
During Piping Live! access is through the ramped entracne to the Street Cafe, cross the marquee and then out the other door to the lift area. There is also an accessible toilet here.
