The Street Cafe returns for 2024 with a line up of great events including Pipe Idol heats, international artists and Emerging Talent, as well as talks, great music, launches, piobaireachd conversations and more. Make plans to meet friends to eat, drink and enjoy our free programming!

There is an exciting line up for artists for you today these are: 

10.15am - Pibroch Network Conversations: Platforming. Pibroch and the public: engaging wider audiences. You can find out more about these discussions here
12noon - Emerging Talent ; Emma Hill and Friends 

1.30pm - International Session ; Dråm from Sweden
3.00pm - Pipe Idol ; Heat 1 of our iconic U21 solo piping event.
6pm - Ally The Piper

These events will be in-person only.

The Venue

In our marquee outside The National Piping Centre, it is a hub of activity with talks, bar, restaurant and live music every day.

Accessibility

During Piping Live! access is through the ramped entrance to the Street Cafe. This is to the left, down the ramp from the main marquee entrance.
If you cross the stage marquee, there is also an accessible toilet out the door on the far side of the marquee, next to the building.
